Our Powder Coating Process

We begin our powdercoating process by hanging your parts on our uniquely designed powder coating parts racks. These powder coat parts racks allow us to maximize the number of parts we can hang from each rack without sacrificing quality.

Then your parts are off to our 3 stage iron phosphate pretreatment system, where your parts are cleaned, degreased and etched for maximum powder coat adhesion. This process involves a high pressure washer designed for the powder coating industry to get into every nook and cranny. Hand wiping simply cannot get into all of the crevices and does NOT etch the part surface. And most powder coating line systems use a lower line pressure wash spray that often cannot remove heavy manufacturing oils.

Your parts are then rolled into our drying oven . Completely dry parts ensure no moisture seeps onto the part surface during the powder coating process.

Your parts then continue to our powder coating spray booth. Our 10' x 10' x 23' powder coating spray booth is fully enclosed and filtered to ensure your parts surface finish remains as clean and debris free as possible.

Now your parts are rolled into our curing oven. Although temperatures vary per powder coating manufacturer, 400 degrees is a typical curing temperature.

Finally, your parts are inspected and ready for packaging!
